I am thrilled to share that my work, Extinguish, has been included in Beyond Function at Target Gallery, national exhibition space of the Torpedo Factory Art Center in Alexandria, VA. This group show is curated by sculptor and installation artist, Novie Trump.

Beyond Function is a media-specific exhibition with a focus on non-functional ceramic art work. These works go beyond utility, seeking to be valued for their aesthetic quality over their usefulness. The Target Gallery promotes high standards of art by continuously exploring new ideas through the visual media in a rotating monthly schedule exhibitions open to all artists both national and international.

Beyond Function is currently on view through June 2 at 105 North Union Street, Alexandria, VA 22314. The opening reception is May 9 from 6pm-8pm.
